{UAH} What Luwero gain from NRM war? Buganda are saf as Buganda

Politicians are liars.

The Baganda will be safer under their Kingdom. What has Luwero gained from the Luwero triangle war apart from pain and sadness? Poverty in Luwero has never been that serious since people can go hungry for month. People have tried everything but even crops can't sell – there is simply so much agro products on the market.

I have told Baganda to get a pen and paper, a mobile phone and write down and catalogue anything about what happened in the the Kingdom. Omusango tegevunda.

The hunt for perpetrators of these atrocities must last a century.

Let me give you an example of how politicians behave about our families inliving in squalid environment in Hoima. Hoima might become the biggest lsum of all times.

My relative have told me about the fate of people who were sent off land in the oil fields. These people were compensated so to say of their parcels of land as per government evaluation not land market value now and in the future!

Most of them were semi –educated and got from UGx 500000 shillings to way above 5,000,000. That money does not build a house and cannot provide one with food for a family of more than one person for a period of three month and later on build a modest house. These many poor people lived off their land and they were better that way. They never depended on anybody.

Many of our families from the oil fields have ended up in Hoima slums or mizigo blamed of drunkenness and other vices.  No one single politician has been in Bunyoro to evaluate the conditions of these people and raise such concerns to the nation as an absurd issue. My maternal uncle from Hoima describes the condition as horrible and pathetic. Some youth are ot goint to school - there is basically nothing to live on

Now, the talk is how oil in Bunyoro will be shared in the country by fat bellied politicians in Kampala , the oil under the land our ancestors have lived on since time immemorial. This is communal land now titled.

I am so surprised how unimaginative Africans can be – no one , I say no single person is providing proper housing and wefare to the people from the oil fields and this is shifting the problem to the future as a social political conflict and it has started already!

Those fields will burn under the feet of those who assume we are fools.
