{UAH} Abed Bwanika wants Amin-reburied home

Folks;

Despite the heat and desperation of the elections, Mr. Bwanika's pledge to return the remains of President Amin for a formal burial home should be taken up the government. It needn't have been left for the Opposition to make this consideration.

Idi Amin, his storied flaws notwithstanding, is in the same league as all his successors. Moreover, as a nation, we can't forever, shy away from out past. Bringing Amin's remains home will help us heal, and reconcile his era with our present, and hopefully, enable us to charter a more accommodating path as a people.

So, whether Bwanika gets any reciprocal votes from the West Nile region for promising to bring home the remains of region's most famous son, his call is a challenge that should be taken up by all presidential candidates.
