{UAH} Ethiopia joins Northern Corridor initiative - News
- The formal entry of Ethiopia into the Northern Corridor Integration Projects initiative is likely to reshape the regional economy and politics, creating a new trading bloc.
- Started by presidents Paul Kagame (Rwanda), Yoweri Museveni (Uganda) and Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya, the initiative developed as a way to improve trade between the three countries. South Sudan is also a member.
- Tanzania and Burundi, the other EAC member-states, are only observers in the NCIP.
Sincerely,
Brian M. Kwesiga
