{UAH} Police Act Now! Kla mob trouble

Bodabodas and agitated youths in parts of Nabweru, Bwaise and Nansana are trying to lynch anyone who 'looks' like a South Sudanese this afternoon.

Apparently a South Sudanese national shot and killed musician 'Master Blaster' last night at Eden Park in Bwaise...just how Sudanese live in Kampala with guns is one thing the police should look into.

Nabweru and Nansana has a large population of South Sudanese. Tempers are flaring.

I managed to send a text message to General Kayihura and telephoned my friend AIGP Asan Kasingye who immediately said he would contact relevant commanders to act.

I drove by an agitated crowd in Bwaise attempting to lynch a South Sudanese. Luckily, there were a few police officers around who fired in the air to stopped a possible bad scenario.

More police patrols (both on foot and motorised) should be put in place immediately if possible.

In a situation like this, General Kayihura or one his more senior officers need to go on the ground and talk peace to the locals. People tend to behave better after seeing the face of KK.

We do not need any foreigners killed as a result of the behaviour of one bad foreigner.  And police should in future give an ultimatum to all South Sudanese to register their guns and anyone found to be holding guns illegally on Ugandan soil would be charged accordingly.
