My feeling is Muslems don't seem to trust the attraction of their religion nor do they trust the power of their God. If their God is that powerful he would rely on stray pigs to fight on his behalf. Anyone who offends God if at all they are there, would be punished anytime, anywhere. Perhaps this is an acknowledgment that Allah is not that powerful.
