Teacher 'Had Sex With Teenage Student Before Telling Him To Keep His Mouth Shut'

A female teacher accused of having sex with her student is alleged to have sent him a threatening text, warning him to keep their liaison a secret.

Virginia Hinckley is said by police to have slept with three of her teenage students, sending a text to one that read: "You better keep your mouth shut about this."

The 26-year-old - who is reportedly pregnant - told authorities that her "bubbly" personality was mistaken for being flirtatious.

However, reports of a sexual relationship surfaced last year after Hinckley gave a 16-year-old boy her phone number just days after school had started.

According to court documents, Hinckley then began sending explicit photos of herself to the teen, telling him not to tell anyone.

As the relationship developed, the unnamed teen told police that he and Hinckley began kissing in classroom of St. Augustine High School in Florida after everyone had gone home.

The pair are then alleged to have had sex in the back of the teacher's car before Hinckley sent the text warning.

After suspicions were aroused about the pair's relationship, police searched Hinckley's mobile and found texts and phone logs between them.

Hinckley has been charged with having unlawful sexual activity with a minor.
