U.K, S/Africa to print Uganda 2016 ballots
The Uganda Electoral Commission is to send a 20-member team to the United Kingdom, Dubai and South Africa to supervise the printing of ballot papers for the 2016 general elections. The team is to be led by Uganda's Electoral Commission Chairman, Eng Badru Kigundu.
Jotham Taremwa, the spokesperson of the electoral body told a press conference in Kampala on Wednesday that the ballot papers will be printed with special security features and serial numbers.
He said these will make their forgery complicated and curtail electoral malpractice.
He however didn't disclose which companies have been awarded the tenders to print the papers.
According to Talemwa, the presidential and parliamentary ballot papers will be printed from the three countries.
Uganda is set to vote in general elections on February 18th 2016.

That includes Sir Edward Mutesa, President Lule, President Binayisa, up to and into Ssabasajja Mutebi. Who all happen to be Baganda leaders." Mulindwa
