Aine's brother has also been kidnapped

Missing Amama Mbabazi's bodyguard, Christopher Aine's brother has too been kidnapped.

Moses Musasizi, a brother to missing Aine was reportedly 'picked up' along Lumumba Avenue in Kampala on his way to a press conference.

The Monday Kampala press conference was held by Aine's paternal uncle, Duncan Muramuzi, together with Sauti Ya Vijana and Jobless Brotherhood [youth groups].

Musasizi who was also heading to the conference was, however, intercepted by unknown people along Lumumba Avenue, grabbed and whisked away.

At the conference, the youth activists demanded that police produces Aine.

"Our concern is for Uganda Police to produce Aine either dead or alive," said Norman Tumuhimbise, the Jobless Brotherhood Founder.

The youth, in a move to compel police listen to their demands, have resolved to petition the Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga.

They promised to collect signatures within 45 days so they can petition parliament and have Aine's disappearance debated on the floor of the August House.

Civil society organisations have also thrown their weight behind youths in demanding that government explains the whereabouts of Aine.

Human Rights Network (Hurinet) executive director, Mohammed Ndifuna, told press recently that Aine's disappearance could throw the country "back to the days of anarchy".

Police spokesperson, Fred Enanga, continues to deny having Aine's in their jails saying they are also looking for him on criminal charges.

President Yoweri Museveni also denied that his government had anything to do with Aine, saying Mbabazi was telling lies and knew where the boy was hiding.

Jobless Brotherhood and NRM youth recently went to Nakaseke district and vsited Aine's mother, Jennifer Namuleme, in Katale Zone in Semuto town.

They threatened to disrupt the February 18 elections if government fails to produce Aine.

However, Internal Affairs Minister, Rose Akol, said they were still investigating the matter warning the population not to politicize the matter.

Aine's family says he was arrested by state security operatives on December 20.

He is currently rumoured dead although there is no proof to ascertain this.

The picture that circulated on social media insinuating his dead body has so far led to the arrest of Red Pepper editors and political analyst, Charles Rwomushana.
