British man kills girlfriend, 2 children, flees to Ghana

A British man suspected to have killed his girlfriend, an ex-soap opera star and her two children has fled to Ghana.

Arthur Simpson-Kent was pictured arriving at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra, days after he was questioned by British police in connection with the deaths.

Citifmonline.com investigations have revealed that Simpson-Kent (48) arrived  in Ghana on December 19, six days after the former Eastenders star and her kids had been reported missing.

The bodies of  Sian Blake and her two sons, eight-year-old  Zachary, and Amon (4) were found in the garden of the house they shared

Reports from the United Kingdom indicate that the family of 43-year-old Sian had "accused him of domestic violence" only weeks before the killings.

Officials of international police agency Interpol, and British police are expected in Ghana Friday night.

In a statement on Thursday, Scotland Yard, headquarters of the British Metropolitan Police, said an autopsy had revealed that the three had died from head and neck wounds.

Police were dispatched to the residence of the Simpson-Kent's ex-wife following reports that he had fled, according to the Daily Mail.

However Dominique Deblieux, frustrated with the invasion fumed: 'This is a ridiculous waste of police resources. He's in Ghana, not hiding in my back garden.'

Significant attempts had been made to conceal the bodies, police said.

She told the Sun in a interview that her ex-husband considered white people a "disease" and dealt in cocaine.

Their daughter, Isis is quoted as saying: "I cannot believe my own father is accused of doing this. It is like a stranger killed the two children. I never met the boys. It is very sad."

Simpson-Kent's profile page on Facebook appears to indicate that he might have some ties to Cape Coast in the Central Region in Ghana.
