Democratic Republic of the Congo President Joseph Kabila's young brother, Zoe Kabila has recently punched and

knocked to the ground Evariste Boshab, the Congolese Speaker of the Parliament and Secretary General of the ruling Parti fu Peuple pour la Reconstruction et la Democratie, over an article published in the US based Forbes Magazine, a source close to General Paul Kagame of Rwanda  who was recorded by intelligence services of a neighboring during a private conversation disclosed. Zoe Kabila beat and knocked down unconscious the Democratic Republic of the Congo Speaker of the Parliament during a heated argument at Joseph Kabila's farm in the suburbs of  the Congolese capital Kinshasa.

The article, published on June 30, 2014 and titled:  Obama Supports the Bush Doctrine - but only in Africa(here), Forbes writer Richard Miniter documented the wealth of  the 43 years old Joseph Kabila, estimated at US $15 billion, accumulated in just over 13 years of power.

According to Forbes Magazine, the fortune is ammassed in foreign and "offshore banks in British Virgin Islands and elsewhere".
This large scale corruption dwarves the $5 billion accumulated by his predecessor, the Zairian diactator Mobutu Sese Seko over 32 years of power.

Hence, Joseph Kabila appears to be the most corrupt country leader in the World today.

According to the Rwandan official, the fight over the article erupted after Zoe and Janet Kabila, the sister of Joseph Kabila and also an influential political figure in the DRC,  accused Boshab of having been the anonymous informer to the Forbes Magazine journalist. Joseph Kabila then accused Evariste Boshab of having, himself, siphoned more than $40 millions from Gecamines and SNL, before and after being hired by Joseph Kabila to lead his coalition of political parties and serving as the Speaker of the Parliament, when Vital Kamerhe resigned. Vital Kamerhe  resigned from the Speaker's position  as a protest against Joseph Kabila's invitation of Rwandan troops to conduct military operations in the DRC.

"Zoe really punched and humiliated Eric Boshab in front of Joseph Kabila and his sister with Joseph Kabila's approval.  The fight is a clear sign that Joseph Kabila's inner circle is shattered. He has already sent a message to the President [General Paul Kagame] that he will not seek another term," General Kagame's private adviser was heard confiding to an unnamed individual, before adding that "the President[General Kagame] has sent me to see how we can work on a contingency plan that mutually benefits us, by serving your interests, while addressing our geopolitical needs".

Joseph Kabila has been under international pressure, especially  from the US Government and other western powers to refrain from changing the congolese constitution in order to remain in power. In recent months, there were also several attempted coups, followed bloody repression. This has prompted Joseph Kabila to request that Paul Kagame send the Rwandan special forces to Kinshasa and Kitona, to reinforce his republican guard (see here).
"Yes, we sent the special forces and the M23 rebels. But the request came from Joseph Kabila and it was an opportunity for us to get rid of the M23 rebels, without being involved in any kind of negotiation...," General Kagame's private adviser told the unnamed interlocutor.

"But this I know, UPC believed and still believes in
very high education. We can call Obote all bad names we have, but the bottom line remains that he got more scholarships for Buganda than all previous Uganda leaders combined. That includes Sir Edward Mutesa, President Lule, President Binayisa, up to and into Ssabasajja Mutebi. Who all happen to be Baganda leaders." Mulindwa
