Dr. Besigye was arrested at his door as he tried to leave home for Najjanankumbi.

The FDC party confirmed the arrest with a tweet, which read: "Besigye arrested for the second time in less than 24hrs as he was attempted to leave his home to head to FDC Najjanankumbi headquarters."
Bwanika who was hosted on NBS TV, aimed attack at religious leaders for maintaining silence about Eng. Badru Kiggundu's works, by blasting: "I'm so disappointed in Muslim leaders. They haven't talked about Kiggundu swearing in the name of "Allah" when announcing results."
He lamented: "Huge number of religious leaders have made themselves dirty, no longer credible& have been compromised."
Bwanika questioned: "Dr Kiggundu should give reason why he should be paid."
On whether or not he can consider working with President Yoweri Museveni, he said: "If there is a framework that benefits Uganda, I would consider. I'm not looking for a job."
