{UAH} Did you know that....

Kasese was the only constituent that UPM won in the 1980 elections.

It was a protest vote after the then DP candidate who was poised to win with a landslide was brutally murdered by UPC functionaries and his body and a one Sempebwa were thrown into river Nyamwamba.

Dr Crispas Kiyonga was an accidental winner . He later fled to exile.
