Election supervisor killed
Police in Sembabule have discovered the body of an election supervisor who was kidnapped by unknown people from polling station on his way back home. Ibin Ssenkumbi the police spokesperson greater Masaka identified the deceased as Vicent Ntege a resident of Ntuusi in Sembabule district.
Ssenkumbi says the deceased was killed on his way back home after submitting the LCV and councilor election results yesterday. He says Ntege 's body was found dumped in a near by swamp together with his motorcycle parked on the road side.
Ssenkumbi say no arrests have been made in connection with the murder. Police also recovered his mobile phone, money and a wallet. The body has been taken to Masaka hospital as investigations start.
