{UAH} EU Observers stand reflects the thoughts of entire Europe, in particular!

And not only Europe is concerned with Uganda's actual plight
but also the whole world where various actors have dismissed
the recently concluded presidential poll! World opinion in general
is terribly shocked by what went on last week and the continued
illtreatment of the opposition and its leaders in Uganda. Wonder is that
will Africa ever succeed to be a democracy and a reliable place for all aspects
of freedom of expression and cjhoice in democracy? Many are inclined to
let advanced democracies directly on the continent and seee to it that values
of freedom as real fundamental rights aren't tampered with by those whose goal is greed and selfishness to the detriment of the citizens' aspirations towards  respected universal ideals. The recent presidential poll was a disappointment to world community which had expected maturity to emerge especially following the two debates which were a successful show of political maturity. And soon, contrary to expectations, it was a childish show to post on election day. And everything returned to square zero! And the very funny actors on the scene don't feel any remorse for their very dirty failure to display fairness in the exercise. Of course all this is due to the fact that they feel small, ashamed and plunged in full complex on seeing that things decided to march so smartly against their will!
Europe, America and Africa to a very big extent have all condemned the poll which they all judge as an unfair political activity aimed at hoodwinking the humble citizens of Uganda! And now, why the detentions and house arrests? And why use the security forces in a situation  which isn't their personal creation? Is it to show that NRM controls them when the world now knows how most of the personnel in the army and the police voted?
Now the EU observers stand intends to bring forward transparency and show, where possible, the discrepancies that were characteristic of the cheated poll.
These would of course include evidence from some polling centres including the one where an almighty chief polled more than 300 votes beyond the official total number of voters on the centre's register! And action is being asked to salvage the current situation from political fire! It's even stated that if the courts don't cancel the poll measures would be taken to enforce a kind of administration that would include several of the opposition big wigs, including Besigye and Mbabazi and some party leaders, and empower them with special autonomous rights to decide on the course of action to take in fullfilment of the duties required by their portfolios. And other leaked proposals would oblige donors to look at Uganda's very successful IRCU and have them on board for a concrete budgeted action. Most actors appear to be shocked by international remarks on many failing African states whose lack of success may be partly looked at as a failure of assessment on the part of some donor groups. If the proposals work, they will help countries to advance and ensure transparency nand regime change without weeping over any  misfortunes! In any case, following an expected well-worked out solution to the current Ugandan situation, things are likely to take to a more idealistic bend that will shade from real pessimism to true optimism, and hence ensure prosperity and mutual common understanding.
