{UAH} MASAKA HAS DEMANDED A CITY STATUS

Brothers and sisters, thank you the people of Masaka for massively
attending Presaident Yoweri Museveni's public rallies at Kiwangala in
Bukoto South, Kyesiiga in Bukoto Central, Bukkakkata in Bukoto East
and Masaka Municipality.
He has promised an industrial town in Masaka, a glass factory, small
scale factories for our artisans, formal certificate for Jua Kali
graduates, amonmg others.
l have been happy with my brother Herman Ssentongo,e the NRM
Parliamentary Candidate, Masaka Municipality for demanding for a city
status for Masaka, as it is the case with Jinja, Mbale, Gulu, Arua,
Fort Portral and Mbarara.
Although the President has not promptly responded to it, at another
rally be in Kalungu, there the host is our State Minister for
Agriculture Vincent Sempijja, or Rakai tomorrow, where we have the
outspoken MPs of ours like Haruna Kasolo or Hon. Mary Nakalema Lubega
Mutagamba, please remind him of a city status for Masaka, and
additionally municipal status for Kyotera.
