{UAH} MUSEVENI PROMISES CITY STATUS FOR WAKISO

Brothers and sisters, l am happy that our efforts have started bearing
fruits. At a public rally at Kyengera Township in Busiro East
Constituency, President Yoweri Museveni promised a city status for
Wakiso Distroct, most of its constituencies are turning into
municipalities.
This is what we have been calling for. We are opposed political
extension of Kampala to cover Wakiso asa Kampala is directly under the
center.
We are also advocating for Nakasongola to be our future political and
administrative capital in a planned manner, just like Addis Ababa from
Axum, Omdurman from Khartoum, Abuja from Lagos, Dodoma from Dar Es
Salaam Yamoussoukro from Abidjan, etc....
In Mawokota South, he promised to pay off Prince Nmaugala, as a Mailo
owner to allow bibanja holders to own the land. This should cut across
the region.
