{UAH} Pope Francis has left for Mexico

The Pope left Rome several hours ago and is soon arriving for a stopover
in Cuba where he is going to meet for the first time Russia's Orthodox leader
Patriarch Kirill head of 130 million of the 250 million Orthodox believers worldwide. This meeting has been very secretly planned and has had the blessing of Russian President Poutkine. It is said the two religious leaders would discuss the situation in the Middle East and Syria in particular.
On arrival the Pope will be met by cuban President Raoul Castro.
He is expected in Mexico late in the afternoon ( local time ). There he will plead for the rights of immigrants and will firmly speak against violence which has cost thousands of lives.
After the official protocol at the airport the Pope will be driven to the Nunciature where he will partly sejourn before moving far upcountry where he will even visit those tough areas where there are notable problems with drugs, violence and immigration.
The Pope is expected to be cheered by hundreds of thousands of people who will line all along the 18 km route from the airport to the Nunciature. And during the entire stay that will last five full days he is expected to be seen by millions of Mexicans in a country that counts 100 million Catholics. Over 13,000 will monitor security in Mexico City alone.
Over 4,000 journalists from all over the world have already arrived in Mexico to cover the Pope's trip.
