{UAH} UGANDA ELECTION RIGGING 2016.

The question that was previously being asked is 'Do you have any vote rigging evidence yet?'

A valid question. However the most recent irregularity to be exposed is the 20,000 inexplicable 'Ghost voters' on the official voters register.

Social media, the perfect platform for quick information sharing & coordination, has played a key role in bringing the issue to light.

What this incident proves is that one consciencious citizen has clearly unearthed how the process has already been rigged in broad daylight.

Are there more such so-called "discrepancies" that are already implemented? Are there others planned?

We have to assume that what we discovered yesterday is possibly criminal, as there is nothing that proves this was an innocent mistake.

On the contrary we have been given many assurances about the robustness of the process despite constant protests from all stakeholders for the last 5 years that it wouldn't be a free and fair process.

There are so many possibilities on what could have been done with 20,000 ghost voters to rig the elections.

In fact how can we now be sure of the rest of the numbers provided?

What this incident also shows is that the real way to control election rigging is for all stakeholders to carefully check all the numbers in a new transparent process that should now be requested directly from the courts of law.

It is surely necessary for the Electoral Commission to apologize for this error and it's head to resign.

I don't know if the candidates and stake holders are already taking legal action on this matter where they could also present evidence of all the irregularities and unfair practices since last year, so as to demand immediate cancellation of these elections until a proper reform is conducted.

One cannot sit there waiting for such an erratic, possibly incompetent, and now probably criminal Electoral Commission to be responsible for declaring the final results on Feb 18th while knowing that they already committed such a key irregularity on material central to the final outcome.
