SV: {UAH} I' AM LEAVING!!
Omego,
There you go wrong again:"....What sort of person does not want to live with their own?....."
Where do you get that from? I do not recall implying so. I LOVE MY PEOPLE AND, I have had friends and girlfriends from all over Africa.
But, the fact still remains that unless I go to the towns and cities, it is not easy to meet one.
And, for your information, at the time we came to Sweden, it was not like these day where every corner you turn in a city, you see countless brothers.
It is different.
In those days if we saw one in the mall, we would go home and talk about it for weeks ( that we saw a black person). It was not common before the first wave of Somalian influx. In those days at the African clubs like Club Africana, brothers travelled all the way from Norge and Danmark to come dance at Africana.
Even in the part of Göteborg we lived then, there were only three African families. One from Cape Verde and another from Ghana.
Those were the days when everyone knew everyone (every African interacted with fellow Africans too). And everyone greeted one another on the streets. These days Africans do not even greet each other on the streets anymore.
But not me: I always greet the brothers and sisters but many just walk pass like they are from Mars.
It happened that most of my friends were not Africans BUT, IT WAS NOT BECAUSE I DID NOT LIKE THEM

Nokrach;
Here you wrote; Where I stay, there are no forigners, well, not many. In fact, I have never met any African since I came back from Uganda in july last year. That is why you do not think like an African and so i will not be coming there. What sort of person does not want to live with their own?.
It just explains why you take Kaguta for an uncle.

--Akim,Although yours here is your personal decision which shouldn't really be any of my concern, you have nonetheless, put it public.Many of us who have been at it live usually never took public avenue. These day, people / dissidents walk straightfaced through Entebbe Airport or the other borders.During our days of Hell, that was not possible. It was like sneaking without real name, no authentic documents..., no passport.Travel safe, bro.I take it that you were already across the border by the time the pronouncement was posted (otherwise, its odd to go public)?I must say this bit reminds of some Ugandan President who encouraged his soldiers to fight on whereas he himself was already in yonder talking on mobile radion sender. More like that......( I forget Saddam's propaganda minister's name). Say hello to Anyadwe gi and the heirs of former Governor.EU (Europe) is closing it's doors so you better hurry while some small windows are still open. Where I stay, there are no forigners, well, not many. In fact, I have never met any African since I came back from Uganda in july last year. --AkimWith RegretsAdios Amigo to a life of fear and despair!So my friends, lets not dispair, the internet is all over so i will be in touch as usual. The one thing that i will not be able to do is write a letter from Acholi to Buganda, to give our peice of mind to our friends in the south. Nevertheless, i willl keep Ugandans informed of opportunities whenever i land.People;I have decided to leave Uganda my beloved country and join the millions of Ugandans who have found home elsewhere. Its not only the presense of soldiers and police in all urban centers but the the stench and the build up of eventuality that is pushing me out. Having lived with my head down for years, i feel its time to throw in the towel. I will return when the situation says so. In the meantime, i am not very sure where the will take me but incase it drops me somewhere close to any of you members, please do open for me the door.
I intend to carry on with the FEDby20/20 campaign. Perhaps with a new found freedom, i may be more forth right in mobilising Ugandans to see the future. Blinded on both sides, by difficulties in life and uncertainity in the country most Ugandans cannot see beyond their noses but i beleive with some effort, patience and determination, i will convert a few.lerance is a stage in civilisation!
