{UAH} EC ‘undressed’ in court

Lawyers for former independent candidate Amama Mbabazi have unleashed a harsh attack on the Electoral Commission accusing the electoral body of deliberately concealing information and rigging for the 1st respondent ( Yoweri Museveni).

The petitioner also submitted that the UCC director had no right to block social media, there is given provision.

Mbabazi then pointed to the affidavit of Asiimwe Bangi who was presiding in Kampala, the affidavit shows two different forms with totally different results.

In Kabale for instance, a polling station shows zero entries for candidates but EC DR forms show Besigye who has zero while EC shows he has 176, M7 has 390- "Where did the results come from?"
"The tally sheets in JInja also have zero entries but EC has results.The tally sheets were signed at 4pm on 18th Feb" Mbabazi said.

Also citing the affidavit of Juma Adams shasha who was returning officer in Kabale, Mbabazi pointed out the irregularities in the process.

"Juma says he signed the DR document at 10am, yet at 7am he was in Kampala, he also says that he failed to transmit the results thus carried the server to the EC in Kampala. The same Juma says he tallied and transmitted the results, who is lying," Mbabazi said.

"In Kiruhura for instance, it seems the healthy systems here are very complex, every one voted and for one candidate, this means no one died, no one travelled or fell sick, My lords we need to investigate this," Mbabazi added.

SEVERINO EXPOSES IRREGULARITIES
Severino Twinobusingye on behalf of the petitioner submits on two grounds. Where there were more voters than those in register and when there were more votes cast than the voters.

Bundibugyo: Bumate Ak polling station: 516 voters but votes cast are 535- Who are the extra 19 votes.
Kanyangoma. Voters 241, votes cast are 343, who are the extra 102 voters.

Busamba 1&2 has an excess of 66 votes, who are they? Kaboijana TC 261 voters, votes cast 652.
At this point Severino is interrupted by Museveni's lawyer ( Kiryowa Kiwanuka) who requests that he relates his information to documents before court. Judges join in and request that he relate his info
