Brothers and sisters, as the election petition case starts today at
Uganda Supreme Court, and as we prepare for sub county, town council
and municipal divisional council elections on Wednesday, we should not
be diverted by petty quarrels like at NRM Secretariat led by the youth
coordinator, Rutaro, who is said to belong to Rt. Hon. Amama Mbabazi;s
inner circle in fighting NRM Secretary General and Amama successor,
Justine Kasule Lumumba.
Whether some complaints of the volunteers may hold some water, they
should have addressed them selves through Director of Mobilizaton and
Recruitment Dr. Hassan Galiwango, Deputy Secretary General Hon.
Tadwong or Deputy Treasurer Hon. Omwona, if at all the substantive
Secretary General was not accessible.
Who does know how the President performed in Nwoya and many of the
home districts of some of these people. Baganda say, ensonyi bazifudde
obusungu.
l think the NRM Secretariat at Plot 10 is still dominated by Amama
loyalists who recruited many of those volunteers, and he just direct
them on remote control.
The worse is at National; Task Force Plot 17.
So, let's concentrate on the ongoing petition and local government
council elections and we should not be diverted at all.
