{UAH} ANNIVERSARY OF THE DEATH OF KARL MARX:

On this day, on 15th Mach 1883, Dr Karl Marx, German philosopher, economist, lawyer, sociologist, historian and foremost theorist and polemist of all time died in London, UK. The father of dialectical materialism, Karl Marx's writings covered almost all fields of human knowledge. Karl Marx is perhaps best known for his "MANIFESTO OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY", a passionate defence of the oppressed people all over the world and call for their liberation, with the famous slogan: WORKERS OF THE WORLD UNITE; YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOOSE BUT YOUR CHAINS. Karl Marx later engaged in one of the most brutal intellectual and ideological debates and confrontations of the 18th Century, summarised in two of his epochal works,THE GERMAN IDEOLOGY and THE POVERTY OF PHILOSOPHY. Advancing his theory of Dialectical Materialism, Karl Marx was to have an everlasting impact on previously held thinking on philosophy, an influence that was to heavily define new philosophies in the advance of the capitalist mode of production, the rise of monopoly capital and global capitalist hegemony DAS CAPITAL is still required reading in all almost all academic teaching and economic planning in many countries of the world spanning many decades. Karl Marx was the greatest living human being of all time and those of us who have spent a life-time reading his work remember him on this day that he sadly passed away. There will be a simple remembrance ceremony tonight at High Gate Cemetery in North London, organised by the London District Committee of the Communist Party of Britain
