{UAH} FDC RELEASE

Opposition Forum for Democratic Change has announced a campaign to stay at home on Thursday, pray, boycott people and entities supporting Museveni.

The new strike was announced by FDC spokesperson Ssemujju Nganda during a weekly press briefing held at the party headquarters in Najjanankumbi.

According to Nganda, every Tuesday, the officials and their supporters will be going for prayers at the party offices putting on black.

"The campaign starts next Tuesday," Nganda told press.

He called upon Ugandans to join them in the new campaign.

After losing the 2011 election, FDC candidate Kizza Besigye launched walk-to-work campaign protesting high food prices.

He managed to pressurise government to curb food prices.

This time round, the new protest will include a lock-down of Kampala city, staying home and shunning NRM services.
