{UAH} Happy Easter, folks

Folks;

Of the three theistic religions - Christianity, Judaism and Islam - Christianity owns this weekend. 

The three religions are theistic, because they believe in Theo, God, who is external of the believer.

Judaism is still waiting for its Savior, having dismissed the arrival of a tiny boy in an odorous cattle house, as the Anointed One.

Islam believes Mohamed was the Prophet, sent by their Allah to introduce to them what awaits them where Allah is, and how to prepare to get to Allah.

Christianity believes that Jesus Christ was the real deal, sent by God; He died for the sins of His believers, rose from the dead, and returned to His Father, where He awaits His believers.

So, the common thread in these religions is that their God is "somewhere" else, and not "with" the believers. 

And there are two ways to get to this God:

1) Either the believer dies - Muslims and Christians, or, 

2, He will return when the believer is still alive - again Muslims and Christians. In Jews' case, the Savior will eventually come.

For Christians, their Savior was crucified today; He will rise from the grave on Sunday!

Whatever your belief system, I wish you a safe and peaceful observance of this ritual. And, please don't drink and drive.
