Toka Kwa Barabara singer; Adam Mulwana is reportedly crying foul after his life suddenly took a dangerous twist. Even after releasing the most popular of the campaign songs for Uganda's leading opposition party, Forum for Democratic change (FDC), he is still grassing.

The Kampala Sun can reliably reveal that while many think the popular song (whose title, Tooka Kwa Barabara also doubles as a jargon for the masses in support of the opposition) has garnered wealth for Mulwana, it is far from reality.

The singer whose fame only leans on the song, Toka Kwa Barabara talked to the Kampala Sun in a recent interview and revealed that his life is endangered.

"I get messages from unknown people threatening to end my life," said Mulwana .

He also disclosed that he was never paid to sing the song and for his performances at Dr. Kizza Besigye's campaign rallies for the just concluded elections.

"I have been accommodated to and from the campaign rallies but no one came up to give me a sum of money or anything thanking me for the song. But I am not complaining because I got better friends and gigs I wasn't getting before," he revealed

Mulwana said he was discovered by FDC's iron lady; Ingrid Turinawe who invited him to start joining them on party rallies. "Ingrid frankly told me it wasn't a job or project that I had to expect a lot in return. I accepted because of the love I had for FDC and Kizza Besiye," relayed Mulwana.
