{UAH} Kenya First Lady Rallies Americas' Support to Reduce Maternal Mortality rates

Dear Friends:
Greetings.
Kenya is perceived as one of the most dangerous countries for a woman to be pregnant and give birth; over 5,500 women die annually as a result of pregnancy related complications.
But the Kenyan First Lady, Mrs. Margaret Kenyatta, through her Beyond Zero Campaign initiative is on a mission to reverse this trend to Zero. She was recently in Phoenix, Arizona, USA rallying American support toward the reduction of Maternal and infant Mortality rates in East Africa's largest economy
