{UAH} Pastor Martin Ssempa went into hiding in May of 2015

Pastor Martin Ssempa went into hiding in May of 2015 when a court in the United States summoned him, as a US citizen, to testify AS A MATERIAL WITNESS, not ACCUSED PERSON, in a case in which another US citizen is being tried. He a indices his church, radio & TV program, and has not been sighted anywhere in Uganda. He has even been off social media since then.

Now a substituted service has been effected in Uganda via public media and I hope he respects a court summon.


The US court has ruled three times in applications for dismissal and discontinuance on the basis of first amendment rights under the US constitution - the right to freedom of religion and freedom of expression from government interference. He has a very big problem on his hands. U.S. legal system doesn't forget. Even thirty years from now they will still be looking for him to be subpoenaed.
