{UAH} Police, army shoot 6 dead in Kasese clashes

Six civilians have been shot dead after violence broke out in the district of Kasese. The first skirmishes broke out yesterday when UPDF officers were attacked and retaliated by shooting dead two dead.

Later on today, four more civilians in Kisenyi, Busongora North constituency were shot by the army and police officers.The Rwenzori region spokesperson Maj. Ronald Kakurungu said security personnel responded after they were attacked by civilians armed with machetes and stones.
