{UAH} RETURN HOME- LUMUMBA TELLS MBABAZI
LUMUMBA CALLS AMAMA BACK AGAIN
NRM secretary General Justine Kasule Lumumba has again called Go Forward Presidential Candidate, back to his roots in NTM where he doubled as a Prime Minister and Secretary General.
At a press conference held at Plot No.10 Kyaddondo Road this afternoon immediately after the Supreme Court Ruling, Lumumba said, that Mbabazi needed counselors to console him for a double tragedy of loosing elections and the petition.
She said that if President Museveni has been sending teams to talk to rebels like LRA leader Joseph Kony, he could as well accommodate the likes of Amama Mbabazi, if they return home.
Former IKnternal Affairs Minister and now Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda, was Govefrnment Chief Negotiator with Joseph Kony.
This is the second time Lumumba has called Mbabazi and Besigye back to NRM. The President also at on more than many occasions, had called them.
She said that Mbabazi was still a card holder of NRM. He defied the party and stood on an independent ticket.
Lumumba thanked the Supreme Court for its wise ruling and congratulated the President, the Electoral Commission, the Attorney General, and even the media for the victory.
She said Mbabazi lost all the 20 counts. In the past in 2001 and 2006, Dr. Kizza Besigye used to win some and loose others and the situation in court remained tense, unlike this time, when there was overwhelming victory.
No sooner had she stopped addressing the media, than NRM fans stormed Plot 10 in yellow, singing NRM victory songs.
Lumumba said that cerebrations had started and the climax would be at Kololo Independence Grounds this Sunday on April 3rd.
She however called upon people to return to their normal work.
she said that the swearing in if the President would be on May 12th.
On answering a question, Lumumba also cautioned Besigye to have some respect for the courts of law otherwise she may end up with contempt of court.
This was after a journalist told him that Besigye had already reacted to the ruLing and dismissed it.
Flanked by NRM Director, Dr. Hassan Galiwango, Deputy Spokesperson Ofwono Opondo , and NRM National Task Force Spokesperson Mike Sebalu, Lumumba promised that most of the President's promises in NRM manifesto, would be put in their 2016/ 2017 national budget, which will soon be read and passed before implementation starting on July 1st 2016.
