{UAH} America's water woes

Baboons,

I recently learnt of one huge problem in the US that many take for granted bcos of what the US is.

It is WATER

Not that the US suffers droughts like in Karamoja or Turkana but its about getting high from just drinking water in the US. Next time you take a bottle or cup of water imagine this. Imagine you arent taking pure or healthy water but water that is both intentionally and unintentionally laced with drugs and by drugs I dont mean healing or curative drugs but narcotics.

The USA recycles most of its domestic waters and this water is recycled from all sources but most significantly from houses or homes and principally from kitchens and toilets. I was in Howell in Michigan a week ago when I returned an AVIS car rental and had time to chat with an Afghan operator.

You may want to know that the Afghan is a recent immigrant and yet altho I never lived in Howell he was brave enough to tell me his ordeal. He said he had two sons and a daughter. All smarty-pants at university with one dukeing out a doctoral degree in Chemistry. Now this particular one was his problem. Dude was diagnosed with a mental condition and immediately prescribed medicines that made the condition even worse to the extent parents had stopped administering medications to him.

He had told his father about the city's domestic water especially it's chemical contents bcos he broke it down into the nitty-gritty only to discover all types of narcotics one can name. Accordingly he concluded that drinking 8 of the 8-ounce glasses of water recommended by health authorities rim the city's domestic water supply was more than enough to satisfy a drug-users daily dosage.

Now this man was asking me where he could get approved herbal remedies for his son. I told him I would Google and recommend him some genuine places to order them from. That evening I was in Toronto when I came across a herbal store called Ottway Herbs and Vitamins in which I made an inquiry on remedies for mental conditions such as the Afghan's son had.  For privacy reasons I can't tell you specifically what the diagnosis was. There are a zillion mental health issues and conditions out there.

I hadn't known that the man ordered some herbal meds but two weeks later he called to thank me wholeheartedly bcos his son's condition had improved  drastically.

Lesson:

It's not enough to see clear tap water as clean enough to drink. You could be drinking more than 'free' and fresh water.

Drugs,  that is.

very high education. We can call Obote all bad names we have, but the bottom line remains that he got more scholarships for Buganda than all previous Uganda leaders combined. That includes Sir Edward Mutesa, President Lule, President Binayisa, up to and into Ssabasajja Mutebi. Who all happen to be Baganda leaders." Mulindwad
