{UAH} Govt to airlift 400 cancer patients to Kenya

Folks;

This is an unbelievable option on several fronts:

1) Can Uganda really afford to foot the airline bills for 400 people?

2) Who will be selected to benefit from this national generosity? I see only "politically-connected" patients boarding that plane.

3) Who will monitor the cost her? I see a wide opportunity for self-enrichment.

4) Why wouldn't the government make urgent appeals to other governments to rush replacement machines to Kampala? That would the obvious starting point.
