{UAH} Kangaroo Court Issues Criminal Summons For Commando Besigye

Kasangati court has issued criminal summons for FDC's Kizza Besigye after he refused to sign police summons in relation to "unlawful assembly".

Last week, police arrested and charged the leading opposition figure for holding an illegal procession as he attempted to make his way to the party's headquarters in Najjanankumbi for prayers.

Police spokesperson Fred Enanga says detectives from Kasangati Police Station have attempted to serve Besigye since Friday last week but he has refused to sign for the summons

"Whatever the case we shall be in court on Wednesday," Enanga says.
