{UAH} Solar Schools in Uganda

This is just the first of what I hope to be many such projects.  Having this initial success will be a great help in accomplishing this goal.

I am the founder of World Community Development Program (WCDP - www.wcdp.org) which works exclusively in Uganda.  Currently we are building a school in Kamuli District (Kasolwe), and have supported a SACCO in Buhoma.  This current solar school project is for the community built school (pictured) in Buhoma village. 

The site in Buhoma is important, not only because it is remote and in need of access to electricity, but also because of the tourism traffic that it receives and the publicity that this can provide for WCDP.  Such publicity will allow WCDP to grow and benefit other less visited locations, such as our school in Kamuli or anywhere else in Uganda.
