''For the last few weeks we've had non Muslims giving out leaflets telling Muslims to get out and vote to prevent bnp and ukip from getting in.
So I end up having a quick conversation with them. I ask them do they criticise bnp and fascists from demonising Islam like the claims of grooming gangs, niqab, extremists in schools, halal meat etc?
They say yes that these fascists are attacking Muslims to whip up hatred and fear.
I ask them who do they want us to vote for they said it's up to you so long as you vote out bnp and they'll be voting for Labour Party
I pointed out that these stories were created by the same mainstream parties you want us to vote for.
Niqab and grooming was raised by jack straw
Trojan horse was exacerbated by mainstream media and Michael gove.
That the fascists are simply feeding off these mainstream politicians and media and then we are told to vote in these same politicians and parties who have created the very problem of fascism in the first place.
He remained quiet and then said yes but we have to do something in the short term.
I said but your solution is to vote in the very same people who have caused the problem you are trying to remove, how is that a solution?
He said I agree with a lot of what your saying but it's the only option currently open to us till we work for an alternative.
I said what you are doing is counter productive to any alternative because you keep feeding ppl back into the mainstream problem and thus maintaining the problem in the first place. The only solution is to disengage and develop a grassroots alternative to the mainstream capitalist run political system.
Although agreeing with me he continued to give out his leaflets.''
