One of the largest reason we have lost UPC as a party in Uganda politics, is the stagnation of its members into self-destruct. When you look closely at what is happening in that party, they turn around and bite each other to death. There is simply no political difference between UPC and for example DP, the difference in UPC is between Acholi and Langi. There is no difference between The Movement and UPC, the difference is between Acholi members and members from Eastern Uganda. There is no difference between Mengo establishment and UPC the difference is between Uganda House and men like Bossa or members of Luwero district let alone Mukono district, the two major UPC holding districts in Buganda. Actually when you look closely, the Obote government was very close with P K Ssemogerere, NRM government today is very close to MP Jimmy Akena. But try one day and put up a UPC delegate conference in Kampala, Acholi and Langi are going to beat up each other. I have stated over and over that during the war in Luwero, the people that John Ogole started to murder, were actually UPC members. And Luwero was so rich with UPC families, yet at no single point did either John Ogole let alone Musa Ssebirumbi create a safe zone for those members. They were all killed and the ones that remained Museveni killed them anyways. You have to recognize that John Ogole, Musa Ssebirumbi and Yoweri Museveni, were all UPC members.

It is very interesting to critical thinkers today, that George Okello has turned around to go after Rwandese, in the posting below he actually refers to Museveni as a Rwanda cut-throat. But that attack on Rwandese is not for he is going after Museveni or his politics, what George Okello is doing is exactly what UPC does, he is targeting the only last pillar of UPC and destroying it. You see from creation, Rwandese have been a very tall pillar of UPC. Many of the very principled UPC members have all along been Rwandese. And yes today we have this never ending battle between Acholi and Langi in the party, but Acholi and Langi joined UPC, a political party that was already established by Rwandese. And a good example is to look at George Okello's father, he was never a pillar of UPC than Frank Kalimuzo. Actually many of the original Rwandese that built UPC were recruited into the civil service by the very same Frank Kalimuzo. Frank Kalimuzo was a more UPC pillar than Akena Adoko, Adoko Nekyon and Olara Ottunu combined. What George Okello is doing today is to fulfill what UPC does the best. If the people we have remaining in the party are Rwandese, why not go after them as well? And that is why Museveni is today a Rwanda cut-throat.

May God save us to watch who will belong to UPC come 2030, when everyone has been successfully attacked and eliminated.
