Miss Nyabuoy Gatbel Deng is a South Sudanese Canadian Fashion Model. She was born in Panyidu Refugee camp,  Western Ethiopia and moved to Canada with her family in 2002 where she currently lives in Calgary, Alberta.

She is 5 feet and 10 inches tall passionate model who loves helping people in her ability by giving them the tools for helping themselves.

She is easy to get along with and loves making people laugh with her funny jokes; for she believes laughter make people forget their struggles for a given moment.

On 13 Oct 2013 she was crowned as Miss South Sudan Canada 2013-2014, in stiff competition from her fellow South Sudanese-Canadian fashion models residing in Canada and she emerged victorious.

Miss Nyabuoy Gatbel is not only a fashion model. She is an Entrepreneur, poet and Human right activist who published numerous overwhelming and fascinating poems and web-articles advocating for human right basically in South Sudan.

Despite living luxurious and cozy life as a top fashion model and young Entrepreneur, Miss Nyabuoy never keeps quiet about issues disturbing people back in her country of origin. She is always active and vocal on social media rebuking human right abuse.

South Sudan needs more vehement fashion model like Miss Nyabuoy Gatbel.
