{UAH} MISSED DEVELOPMENT: THE UNKNOWN UNKNOWN?
I once said that the Corruption-Based Development (CBD) that Ugandans are being made to smile about, is nothing compared to what this country should have been by now.
I estimated last year that this Uganda should have been at least FOUR TIMES MORE DEVELOPED than it is today.
Many thought I was exaggerating.
Now the report into Uganda National Roads Authority reveals that UNRA used up to 9 trillion shillings in the last 7 years to construct only 1,500km of roads.
That amount could have constructed at least 5,147km of roads basing on the international standards of cost per Kilometer.
We have therefore missed almost 4000 kms of well tarmacked roads that should be out there right now on top of what exists today.
What about all the other development and modern services by other departments that the people have missed but they aren't knowledgeable about?
There is a very old man (pictured) who is responsible for all the state mismanagement, theft, and corruption-based missed opportunities since 1986 that is yet to be precisely calculated.
