{UAH} Ocen//No place to hide for Kenya's bad fathers
Folks;
On first reading, this judge's ruling is no brainer: since a child is a product of a man and a woman, the child's birth certificate should clearly name those two who are responsible for him.
Apparently, that had not been the case: only the mother's name was recorded. This loophole, it turns out, was aimed at protecting married men from being exposed as having fathered children out of wedlock!
Talk about patriarchal, chauvinistic, and irresponsible living.
Now that the judge has sealed the loophole, I can see single moms filing papers to demand back child support, and make the necessary changes to their children's birth certificates.
Yes, Kenyan men can run, but they won't hide anymore!
