{UAH} President Museveni: The Next 5 years
There is need for a social welfare policy to cushion companies from wage hike and the citizens from over taxation burden. Right now there is deceleration in the economy with URA seeing a whooping shilling 290 billion short fall in this year's fist quarter. Estate Developers have suffered a backlash never seen before in this country! Jomayi is collapsing and many others are leaping. The automobile industry has seen the same calamity.
Criminality is on the rise.
This trend might go on for the next two years as business lose their savings!
The citizens are over burdened with
a. high education,
b. medicare fees,
c. homes rates and
d. high transport fees.
The consequences are likely to be grave with family break ups, more children studying half way and increased business collapsing. The disease burden is taking its toll. I am yet to understand population trends many women might not produce children if they are sensetive to the economy in rban centres
Government policy does not work. If you increase financial input in agriculture, well – in Teso mangoes and oranges are rotting away. That is what we were taught long time ago about Irish potatoes production to understand demand and supply. Over production of any crop without sustainable market will sweep away all small scale farmers investment.
Museveni has already rejected taxes on milk. Meat prices (speculative) have fallen by 1500 -2000 to 8500 in Kampala.
Agriculture is good in high consumption nations, a disaster in low consuming society. Urbanise.
