"THE SITULAGO IS OVER" ~ Barbie Kyagulanyi.

By Gisa Isaac

After Bobi Wine miserably lost the January, 14th general election to the person he had earlier named a democrat, my prediction had come true. The fight for freedom had lost direction and the struggle to end the dictatorship was no more. I am pretty sure, there will be no or at least a difficult come back for true and tested leaders of this struggle like Dr. Kizza Besigye.

Bobi was no mole in the opposition but he was surrounded by moles. Bobi's naivety and Muntu were used to drive a wedge into FDC, a party with a clear direction and a strong foundation. That was the demise of opposition in Uganda.

The NUP chose to play tribal cards and mudslung Dr. Kizza Besigye and the FDC and here we are; back to the Movement system.

To be fair to Bobi; he has taken his lessons. He must regret the times he mocked Dr. Besigye. On the other hand, Dr. Besigye must be deeply weeping and sobbing for the 20 years of immense contributions to the struggle only to brought be down by  fellow members of the opposition.

First things first, it is neither Bobi or Besigye that have failed. It is the Ugandans who are desirous of change that have failed. I can only blame Bobi for being impatient and naive to think his popularity alone would take him to state house. He actually misused his great fame and popularity. If he hadn't, we would be a different country all together.

If you want to know the kind of opposition we have in Uganda, look at the Speakership race and the views from the very legislators that we just voted in perhaps the fairest and freest election Uganda has had in our recent past. How can a serious opposition Member of Parliament support an NRM candidate? What can Rt. Hon. Kadaga do that Hon. Ssemujju cannot do? NRM already has majority seats in the August House and our hopeless MPs are looking to add to the number with stupid justifications! I am imagining if all opposition MPs joined with Independents and wooed a few NRM MPs, wouldn't we have Hon. Nganda as the next Speaker! NRM's Rt. Hon. Kadaga and Rt. Hon. Jacob Oulanyah are already tearing each other apart to share the Kyakwanzi influenced vote. Why can't opposition MPs and Independents ride on that confusion to install a Speaker that will be the beginning of change. What kind of opposition is this? Are political parties only business vehicles or do they have political agendas different from those of Limited Liability Companies!

Hon. Muhammad Ssegirinya after taking his oath, took off back into hiding. I am reliably informed that for all the days he spent here, he didn't sleep at his home for a single second. Whereas his woes are not over because he is #Misomo_Gyalema , I must acknowledge that he means well for his constituency.

The only thing that will save Segirinya is the same thing that saved Hon. Kato Lubwama of Rubaga South. Segirinya's answer lies in Salim Saleh at a cost. We are about to lose a great MP because of his utter stupidity and recklessness. Ssebo ye awa banne bursary z'okusoma ye natasoma๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€.

Because of the Bobi naivety, Uganda may for the time being forget the hopes of change; whether peaceful or otherwise. This is what we are headed for. John Patrick Amama Mbabazi makes the next cabinet, Tibuhaburwa resigns as the Chairperson of NRM and the former becomes Chairperson. Tibuhaburwa is allegedly bedridden and the Vice President of Uganda (JPAM) takes over Presidential duties in the run up to the 2026 vote; the election is organised by Electoral Commission and NRM (this time led by JPAM), JPAM uses the trick that was used in 2001, 2006, 2011 and 2016, rigging with the help of government apparatuses and Mbabazi wins presidency. Leads Uganda for two terms. In 2031, the same trick is used to install Muhoozi Keinerugaba and he will kukalakata abazzukulu baffe for about 20 years.

WARNING: Mbabazi is worse than Hitler and M7 combined.

The day we admitted Bobi and trashed Dr. KB is the day we signed off dictatorship for eternity. Unfortunately, we keep voting NRM MPs back to parliament but we claim not to support the government. Isn't this madness?

Unfortunately we can have #Misomo #Gyalema Nyanzi seek to oust Muhammad Nsereko, we have Nabilah seek to oust Omuloodi Lukwago to mention but a few.

Aloga Uganda munyiikivu. Whereas everyone is happy to go to parliament, Dan Magic, Nubian Li, Eddie Mutwe,  Yasini Kawuma , Frank Ssenteza and several others are either in prison , police cells, military detention centres or six feet deep under the ground.

In the meantime, yesterday a lawyer friend of mine Male-kiwanuka Mabirizi shared with me an audio from #Barbie_Itungo where she was specifically explaining to the situlago sponsors that the situlago is over. This ran so deep within me. Bobi was never here to start the struggle; he was here to start the situlago and end it. I am told it's now over. The disarray in the opposition is at its highest.

The only point of solace is that I know, the opposing Ugandans never belonged to the person of PK Ssemwogerere, they never belonged to the person of Dr. K. Besigye and in fact they don't belong to the person Hon. Kyagulanyi Ssentamu. They are ready to move on to the next person now that the Katego singer has shown the worst Katego in Uganda's recent history.

It's high time we stopped quarreling with one another, took a breath and realised where we are. Bobi Wine has so far taken us politically back to 1996, 25 years before the struggle began; but we can surely unite and build the momentum again. If we don't, there is a Bachwezi dynasty in the offing. That's EXACTLY where we are headed.

Naye nga Banna Uganda lwaki tuli bawumbatuutu??????
