Prince Harry confuses Prince George by being on his 'best behaviour' around the Obamas

May 9, 2016

Prince Harry is known for his fun-loving, laid-back nature, but even he knows that when entertaining the President of the United States of America, one must be on their best behaviour. The royal was so intent on maintaining a respectable demeanour during his meeting with the couple last month that he confused his young nephew Prince George, this according to First Lady Michelle Obama.

"All through out, [Prince George] was like, 'Uncle Harry, why are you so quiet?'" revealed Michelle during a sit-down chat with Harry and Good Morning America's Robin Roberts. The trio were discussing the Obamas visit with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry at their London home Kensington Palace.

George, who turns three in July, stayed up a little past his bedtime to say hello to the Obamas. Clad in his pyjamas and bathrobe, the little boy thanked Barack and Michelle for a rocking horse and stuffed toy dog they had previously given him as gifts. It was then that the youngster noticed his uncle wasn't his usual playful self. "Usually I'm throwing him around the room and stuff," admits the royal about his relationship with his nephew.

First Lady MIchelle also gave royal watchers a glimpse into the close bond Harry shares with George. "The most precious thing, if you haven't already fallen in love with [Harry] is to see him with his nephew. [George] has a pretty good uncle ..."
