{UAH} UGANDA MARTYRS, OUR SAINTS

Call my thoughts outrageous and far-fetched but Ugandans seem to have quickly ignored a major event and relegated the same to nothing but History books. A death is only felt by immediate families but never the communities and such is what some Uganda families have endured for over a century yet acknowledged and celebrated globally.

Its about Uganda's 47 Christian Martyrs - 45 of whom Baganda and 2 Acholi.

The sad event (as one) is so recent as traceable and told history as the two World Wars and the Jewish Holocaust. By that I mean close relatives of these innocent souls still exist and are accessible even thou they wouldnt know what exactly transpired in the series of cold case murders as tho some authority has issued gagged orders for them not to speak.

Just in case you havent got wind of where i am headed to, it is Justice for the bereaved families. Yes, families. I am sure the Baganda martyrs have living close relatives and just as the Kabakaship continues to live so are these blood lines.

Recommendation:

A desperado lawyer could launch a class-action law suit against the kingdom for these wrongful murders. These are easy to prove beyond written records in that they were ordered by a Kabaka whose lineage still rules Buganda. These families shouldnt just kiss the Kabak's ass but seek justice and reparations.

Justice delayed is justice denied. When I am done with my snail-moving LLM this will be my first Uganda road-kill - big time. To say not a single Kabaka since Muwanga has pleaded Mia Culpa in acknowledgement of having done wrong is simply unacceptable. Instead the Kabakaship still uses the same - tho subtly - to instill fear which forcefully torments the so-called "Subjects" to worship it as some kind of deity. Like the British monarchy and monarchies all over the world, the Kabaka is a filthy blood-drenched institution - deeply emerged in all types of sins one can imagine.

This is wrong.

For Daudi and Jildo of Acholi this could be a difficult case to handle bcos the Paimol meted unsanctioned mob justice on these Catechists. However, behind the mob justice also lies a family haunted for instigating the murders. A medicine man or woman is a possibility among others.

Such a case could ripple up the ladders of culpability such as to suck the Uganda government as well into the fiery furnace of justice.

If Jews continue to pursue Nazi accomplices and sympathizers why cant we give justice where it is due?

Well, I always think weird.
