{UAH} GEORGE OKELLO ATTACKS 'SEMUWAMBA' ON UAH FACEBOOK

' Mr Semuwamba, your knowledge of history and world events is so skewed as to be almost worthless. Therefore, I don't bother with your rather idiotic statements on historical figures like Chairman Mao, Stalin and even Hitler that you seem to hold in awe. Your very simplistic analysis achieves the opposite effect, in that it makes Mr Mwenda look clever, when the man is in fact an unadulterated fascist apologist.


This is the statement I am alluding to, made by Mr Semuiwamba:"Hitler only gets the worst rap in the history curriculum because Stalin indirectly aided the allied forces in overthrowing Nazi Germany. If it was the other way around the same would be said for Stalin who killed millions more of his own people and the Ukrainian famine instigated by Stalin killed over 7 million people alone.See Timothy Snyder's "Bloodland" and study the section on Stalin's starvation of Ukraine. To ringfence whole towns in order to let the inhabitants starve to death is fairly equal to a death camp in my mind." This is clearly is a statement of an idiot or revanchist hooligan who has not bothered to study the history of the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia, and the Great Patriotic War against Nazism. he should read more about Hitler's encirclement of St Petersburg, the monumental and huge sacrifices made by the Russian people to stop Hitler. More than 20 million people died in Hitlers seige of St Petersburg. If St Petrsburg fell, Hitler was confident he would conquer the whole of Europe. Stalin and Russian communists stopped Hitler and taught him a lesson he will never forget. The strategic alliances that Stalin had to make, were made to save the Russian people from annihilation, and to save the whole world from a fascist empire over Europe. It is Churchill who needed the help of Stalin, and not the other way round. It is so stupid for Semuwamba to state that Stalin enterred the war accidentally. Actually, it is the Red Army that defeated the Nazis, the Americans only enterred the war in the last two years, long after the Red Army had over-ran Berlin. It is this type of deliberate distortion of history by Semuwamba thjat I find very distasteful . It is intellectual dishonesty of the worst kind. I also note that Mr Semuwamba is actually attempting to rehabilitate the Nazi Fuhrer Adolf Hitler by somehow making ridiclous and completely puerile comparisions of Hitler's crimes with the so-called crimes that he says Stalin committed. Mr Semuwamba is probably one of those Islamic zealots who hold Hitler in awe, and applaud him for his failed attempt to wipe out the Jewish people. This is a very distasteful form of Neo-Fascist Revanchism and must be confronted by all right-thinking people in the world. Hassan Amina, I have studied the Bolshevik Revolution very deeply, and have lived in Russia for sometime, so I know what I am writing about. Mr Semuwamba should just have responded to Mr Mwenda's ridiculous comments in a staright-forward manner rather than pretending to be "intellectual", scholarly or widely-read. By making totally irrelevant comparisions, instead he has made himself look foolish and completely out of his depth, because nothing that he writes can stand up to even cursory intellectual scrutiny. He has ended up rescuing Mr Mwenda's inanities by somehow lending credence to his defence of a fascist regime that oppresses Ugandan people on an industrial scale..'
