To start with, 17,000 land titles in wetlands within the three districts were mapped out for cancellation in 2014. But two years later, the Cabinet directive is yet to be implemented. According to the director of environment affairs, Mr Paul Mafabi, they are still working with ministry of Lands to verify the information of the affected individuals before the directive is implemented.
