– CORD leader Raila Odinga claims that IEBC irregularly gave President Uhuru Kenyatta two million votes in 2013
– Raila maintained that current IEBC commissioners could not be trusted to hold free and fair 2017 elections
– He said the weekly anti-IEBC protests would only stop when the commissioners are out offices and talks are initiated
Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) leader Raila Odinga has claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta was heavily favoured in the 2013 general election.
Raila, on Monday, June 6, shared contents of "The Kenyan People's Case against IEBC" showing that Uhuru apparently got 2 million votes irregularly.
"In the last elections, 14 million people registered as voters. 10 million voted for governors, 9.9 million voted for senators, women representatives had 10.1 million. Votes cast for the posts were at an average of 10 million each… 12 million were said to have voted for the presidents; that means two million people voted for presidential candidates only, is that possible?" Raila said.
He said that during the elections, every voter was being given six ballot papers: for the members of the county assemblies, members of National Assembly, women representatives, senators, governors and the presidential candidates.
Therefore, it was not possible for two million people to decide and vote for the presidential candidates only.

Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) gave the two million votes to Jubilee's candidate (Uhuru), Raila concluded.
The former prime minister repeated his call to have the commission reconstituted saying that they officials could no longer be trusted.
Raila had earlier claimed that he was aware of a pact between Uhuru and the current IEBC commissioners.
"I know the kind of negotiations he has had with IEBC and the kind of undertaking they have given him… That they will be there to make sure Jubilee wins and they will finish their term, and then they will be appointed to positions here and there," said Raila on Sunday, May 2.
The opposition leader has been leading weekly anti-IEBC demonstrations which he said would only end of the current commissioners leave office and national dialogue is initiated.
In 2013, IEBC declared Uhuru and his running mate William Ruto the winners of the presidential race with 6 million votes (50.51%).

Raila and Kalonzo Musyoka came second with 5 million votes (43.70%). Amani Coalition's Musalia Mudavadi was third with 484,000 votes.
Cord team disputed the results at the Supreme Court which later upheld Uhuru's election.
