Walmart Canada has just issued an immediate statement that their customers will no longer be allowed to use Visa cards to make purchases, in this entire country. Reps from the store say fees applied to Visa cards are "unacceptably high." They say the first stores to stop accepting Visa will be in Thunder Bay, on July 18, and the change will be rolled out Canada-wide in phases. Other credit and debit cards will still be accepted. Again starting July 18^th, Walmart Canada is phasing out the use of visa in the entire country starting with the Thunder Bay location. We are going to get a more detailed phasing out plan as next week rolls in.

Advise your  families accordingly.
