Theresa May, was asked directly in Parliament today, "Is she personally prepared to authorise a nuclear strike that could kill 100,000 people?
Her direct response. Yes.
The British voted to invade Iraq on the basis that they had weapons of mass destruction. The Chilcot Inquiry said that there was no evidence that Saddam was going to use them at the time when it was claimed he had them. Nevertheless, a majority vote was passed with this knowledge.
Today, Theresa May, explicitly says she will use them should they need to. Does this give moral authority for any other nation to come and invade Britain and pull Theresa May out of a trench?
