I WAS DENIED MEDICAL INSURANCE BECAUSE AM NOT FROM ANKOLE!!

Appearing on N.B.S T.v this morning Mukono Municipality M.P Betty Nambooze told viewers that the only reason she was denied Medical insurance by parliament is because she doesn't come from the western part of Uganda.
A few weeks back Ministry of Health confirmed that it denied Mukono Municipality Member of Parliament Hon Betty Nambooze Bakirere clearance documents for her treatment abroad, because she did not meet the requirements. "I understand that there were requirements before I leave for south Africa for treatment,but this was an emergency", "If I was from a certain region or part of a group of people or tribe,they wouldn't ask for all the stated requirements". Nambooze!
Hon Nambooze told journalists on her arrival from South Africathat the Ministry's National Medical Board declined to clear her treatment in South Africa.
As such she said, all the medical expenses were catered for by herself except the air ticket which was given to her by the speaker of parliament Hon Rebecca Kadaga "at a personal level"
As a member of Parliament, Hon Nambooze is entitled to medical insurance. However, when her doctors referred her to South Africa for specialized treatment, Parliament could not foot this bill without clearance from the Medical board.
Nambooze says she begged the 12 member board for the support documents but she was not helped.
