Sources Say That Bomb in Medina Was Just a Pipe Explosion

An explosion went off near Prophet Muhammad's mosque in Madinah on Monday evening.

"The bomber himself, and at least two security officers were killed in the blast.
Saudi TV news network Al-Arabiya reported that the two men were breaking their Ramadan fast, when they spotted the attacker," RT news said.

However, some reports claim it was not a suicide bomb, but a cylinder blast.

A couple of hours earlier, two bomb blasts, confirmed to be suicide bombers, went off in Qatif, where the majority of residents are Shia.

There was another suicide bomb attack near the US consulate in Jeddah earlier today.
