{UAH} These words say it all

Earlier today we got news of the attack in ‪#‎Medina‬. That's the fourth attack this week in a Muslim country, on ‪#‎Muslims‬, in the month of ‪#‎ramadhan‬. The last 10 nights of this month are supposed to be some of the most holy nights of the year. Certain sects of the Islamic community have always been a target of the terrorists; but one thing that unites us all is the love for the Prophet. Today's attack showed the world that these people have nothing to do with our religion. They are not from us. As sad as it is for Muslims the world over, what makes it worse is the rest of the world is oblivious to our pain. While some parts of the world are lit up with bombs, the others celebrate "independence" with fireworks, no care whatsoever about the hell that is breaking loose. We cried together for ‪#‎Paris‬ and we stood in solidarity for our brothers in ‪#‎Orlando‬, but not a tear was shed for ‪#‎turkey‬, no lights were lit for ‪#‎Bangladesh‬, no messages of support went out to the victims of ‪#‎Iraq‬ who are paying for an unknown crime for years, and today no one stood with Muslims when the Holy Prophets grave was attacked in #medina. Sad state of affairs around here. We've lost our humanity and our kindness and compassion. It's been one of the saddest months for the Muslim world, but unfortunately no one else saw beyond the attacks in Orlando. May God bless us all with His mercy and soften our hearts.
